Lorraine Zutshi, Senior Arts Lecturer at Bracknell & Wokingham College will be judging the work in this year's Arts Week.

This year’s Binfield, Warfield & Winkfield Arts Week (The Arts Week) runs throughout the October half term holiday 22-29th October 2017.

The Arts Week is for the enjoyment and appreciation of the wonderful arts and crafts available in our local area and of course to promote and encourage participation – have you thought about trying computer animation, playing the ukulele, joining a Community Orchestra or making large papier mache monster masks?

Arts Week events include children’s trash drumming, animation workshops, pumpkin carving, “Scary” performing arts workshops, and for adults there are silver making workshops, calligraphy, ukulele workshops and lots of live performances of music, talks and an exciting new piece of satirical theatre.

For three days Friday 27th-Sunday 29th October there is the fabulous art and crafts exhibition at Brownlow Hall.  It showcases more than 200 exhibits by leading local artists and art groups.  There are so many local art groups to join!  Lorraine Zutshi, Senior Arts Lecturer at Bracknell and Wokingham College will be judging the work and providing her incisive critique and feedback at 12.00 midday on Saturday 28th October – come and listen in.  The quality and range or work promises to be outstanding, with much of it available to buy.
