Bracknell & Wokingham College are celebrating a clean sweep across the board with Best Results for a Further Education College in the Thames Valley (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire) and coming top in both the Employer and Learner experience surveys for the area.

The Rt. Hon John Redwood MP, Member of Parliament for Wokingham said:

“I send my congratulations to the college for their recent good results. It is good news that more people now have the qualifications they need to get decent jobs. I thank all the staff who have helped, and say "Well done" to all the students who were successful”.

The Skills Funding Agency have released the National Achievement tables showing learners are more successful at Bracknell & Wokingham College than other Further Education establishments in the Thames Valley. This was achieved through the commitment of college staff working tirelessly to enhance the learner experience, providing additional support via tutorials, workshops and practical activities to help learners achieve their full potential.

The latest government employer satisfaction ratings for the training provided by colleges once more show Bracknell & Wokingham topping the region's training deliverers with a score of 8.7 (out of 10) compared to a national average of 7.9. This was based on employers that have worked with the college, primarily in the delivery of Apprenticeships in the workforce.

The clean sweep continues with learners voting the college the best as part of the FE Learner satisfaction survey which captures learners’ experiences of their college or training organisation through a series of questions ranging from ‘‘How satisfied or dissatisfied are you with the teaching on your course?’’ through to ‘’How likely is it that you would recommend the college to friends or family?’.

With Full and Part time courses starting in September there is still time to be part of this success.
