Youngsters considering their next move after GCSEs can come along to an A Level and Vocational Courses information evening for full-time courses starting from September 2013. Adults thinking about starting a Level 3 or 4 course are also welcome to come along and find out about the government’s new 24+ Advanced Learning Loans which can help to fund these courses.

  • Monday 13 May 2013, 6-8pm
  • Church Road Centre, Bracknell (SatNav RG12 1EH– free parking is available)
  • Meet our tutors. Get some advice and guidance
  • Find out about progression after college
  • See our facilities

Is your son or daughter 16 in 2013?  The government’s Raising the Participation Age (RPA) initiative means that all young people will have the opportunity to stay in education or training until they are 17. College is one of the options available to them and this evening is a great opportunity to see why it could be the right choice for them.

James Taylor, Vice Principal, Curriculum & Quality said:

“Coming to college is a great option now young people must stay in education or training until they’re 17 – and next year until they’re 18. Our students are really satisfied with the college experience, that's the conclusion of a government survey by FE Choices.

The Raising of the Participation age (RPA) will lead to greater employment opportunities, increased life satisfaction and higher lifetime earning potential. We look forward to welcoming everyone on Monday 13 May.”

24+ Advanced Learning Loans – new for 2013!

If you are aged 24 or over and sign up for one of our Level 3 courses starting on or after 1 August 2013 you can now apply for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan to help you pay for the costs of the course. Come along and find out more at the Information Evening.

Register online or turn up on the day – we look forward to seeing you there:

Our Star Café will be open during the event offering light refreshments including drinks from the Starbucks coffee range.
