Grant, was exceptional.
Howard O’Keeffe, Principal and Chief Executive
said:
“Carrie is an
inspiration – she gained her experience the hard
way and our students will carry her advice and guidance into their
futures.
“Families and friends saw these young people
honoured by their tutors, who encourage them to do
their best.”
One winner, Danielle Renouf, trains as a paramedic at St
George’s University of London. She studied Health
& Social Care.
She beat 549 applicants to her university
place.
Danielle said: “College let me do what
I really wanted. Getting into St George’s was tough, but
my course was a great route to my goal. My tutors
helped me get my Maths and English GCSE grades, and enough UCAS
points.”
Previous guests include Olympic gold medallist
Jason Gardener, and TV vet Steve
Leonard.
