Students hungry for answers grill Local MP
On Monday 31 October 2011, 20 A Level students
from Bracknell & Wokingham College studying Government &
Politics visited the Houses of Parliament, and got the opportunity
to have their questions answered by local Bracknell MP, Dr Phillip
Lee.

The students’ questions ranged from basic
enquiries into Dr Lee’s career and his views on the European Union,
to his thoughts on local provisions for young people and his
opinions on the number and condition of existing facilities.
The event, which was designed to encourage
young people to address issues they find important, was a great
success, and Dr Lee later commented:
“It was great to meet students from Bracknell
& Wokingham College. They all showed a genuine interest in
politics and appeared impressed by the Parliamentary Estate
buildings. I greatly enjoyed their tough questioning.”
