I’ve ever been in. I failed in my first year but was supported to
carry on. I have the college to thank for where I am now. My
tutors, Chris, Rich, David and previously Claire and Bal were the
most amazing teachers – the most professional I have ever met.
“I would like to go in to drug development or
cancer research – I originally wanted to be a doctor but I think
this would be a really good way to help people." (pictured above

people say that but it’s true. I wouldn’t have got the grades
without the brilliant teachers. It always felt like the first day
and I never got tired of being here. I’ve made lots of good friends
and will really miss the atmosphere and the teachers.”

nice people here, really welcoming and really good facilities for
photography. I’m so glad I came.”

the most out of it. I stayed on at school sixth form then took a
gap year and took this A Level in a year to boost my point
score.”
Head of Department, A Levels and GCSEs,
Ginette Cox said:
“Our students have worked really hard and
produced an excellent set of results. Those who completed their A
Levels this summer once again achieved an overall pass rate of 100%
- maintaining the high standard set last year. Students achieved
eight A*s across the board in Maths, Sociology, English and
Photography. Everyone has fulfilled their potential, this is
testament to their hard work but also that of their teachers, who
support them tirelessly throughout their time with us at
college.
“I am excited about the next steps for these
young people who will now be moving into their careers or further
study at university. It was great to see students returning to
college today and I wish them all well in the future.”
There’s still time to apply for September.
