ApprenticeshipsMotor vehicle launch takes pole position

Jane and David Crombie of Voltaward at the eventWe unveiled our new Motor vehicle Apprenticeship programme to local employers from the motor trade last week.

The invited guests were given a tour of the college’s brand new facilities, and then a presentation explaining both how an Apprenticeship works and how it could improve their company.

Jane Crombie, who owns Voltaward in Wokingham alongside David Crombie, said:

“These are fantastic facilities for youngsters.  I know somebody who would be interested in an apprenticeship here and they would be pretty impressed.  The building looks really impressive.”

Sean Bradbury, owner of MOT City in Wokingham, said:

“This is great because it’s on our doorstep. It’s first class. I particularly like the diagnostic equipment and the electronics look good.  Things like the cross-sectioned engine are really important for the youngsters to visually see how the engine actually works. It’s like Caesar’s Palace here!”

Craig Smith, owner of Wokingham MOT & Service Centre, said:

Blinding facilities – they’re better than mine! The workshops are spacious and there’s plenty of room to work on the cars."
