Motor vehicle launch takes pole position
We unveiled our
new Motor vehicle Apprenticeship programme to
local employers from the motor trade last week.
The invited guests were given a
tour of the college’s brand new facilities, and then a
presentation explaining both how an Apprenticeship
works and how it could improve their company.
Jane Crombie, who owns Voltaward in Wokingham
alongside David Crombie, said:
“These are fantastic
facilities for youngsters. I know somebody who would be
interested in an apprenticeship here and they would be pretty
impressed. The building looks really
impressive.”

Sean Bradbury, owner of MOT City in Wokingham,
said:
“This is great because it’s on our doorstep.
It’s first class. I particularly like the
diagnostic equipment and the electronics look good. Things
like the cross-sectioned engine are really important for the
youngsters to visually see how the engine actually works. It’s like
Caesar’s Palace here!”
Craig Smith, owner of Wokingham MOT &
Service Centre, said:
“Blinding facilities –
they’re better than mine! The workshops are spacious and
there’s plenty of room to work on the cars."
