Dexter Burt is currently studying towards his Level 2 Basic Accountancy Apprenticeship at Bracknell & Wokingham College. Having previously completed a Sports Injury Apprenticeship for two years, whilst playing for Brentford Football Club, Dexter decided to change careers to accountancy and is now working at KnowledgePool in Bracknell.

He said: “I decided to come and do an Accountancy Apprenticeship at Bracknell & Wokingham College because I know people here already. I had no hesitation in joining because it’s a brilliant place to learn."

“I started the course slightly late but the tutors have really helped me out. Combining studies and work will allow me to progress in my job; but also allows me to get an education at the same time. Getting paid whilst studying and gaining experience in the workplace is the ideal combination for me!”
