Bracknell Public Service Show

The Bracknell Public Service Show 2018 is due to be held on the 4th of October 2018 at South Hill Park, Bracknell from 11am to 3pm. The show is designed to promote careers and volunteering opportunities in the armed forces, emergency services and other related services and charities and is run by the Uniformed Public Service Department from Bracknell and Wokingham College. The show is set to be attended by Schools, Colleges and Universities from across the country as well as both regional and national Public Services.

This year's show is set to be bigger and better than ever. The show is free for Schools, Colleges, Universities and the public to attend and is also free for services to exhibit at. This event is designed to be hands on with students being able to speak to real service personnel, being able to touch real equipment, vehicles and animals used by the services. History of the show

The first show was held on the 7th of May 2015 at Bracknell Rugby Club, more than 18 services turned up bringing with them more than 16 service vehicles plus equipment and personnel from various departments. Specialist units such as Search and Rescue dogs and Police horses also attended. Schools and Colleges from as far away as Croydon, Southampton and Cirencester attended the show.
