Professional and Career Development

Learning new skills, or improving the skills we already have, is just as important for our personal development as it is for our career progression.

Personal development is a lifelong process and not one that stops once we have left school. Perhaps you’ve looked at where you are now - whether professionally or personally - have assessed your skills and are now looking to make a positive change in your life.

Learning and improving your knowledge of a subject, is a great way of helping to make change happen. Learning a new skill is said to stimulate and engage the body and mind to keep them active.

Whether you’re looking to take the next step on the career ladder, changing profession, returning to work or just want to master a new skill, we have a course to help you at Bracknell & Wokingham College.

Our part-time work courses take place from various centres around Berkshire - in the evenings, on single days, on Saturdays, some last a few weeks and some keep you busy all year; there’s something suitable for everyone in Wokingham, Bracknell and communities further afield.

With courses ranging from Accounting to Childcare, Counselling to First Aid, Law to Languages, Office Skills to Teacher Training and many more, there’s a course for everyone.

Make the most of You with any one (or more) of our work inspired courses!
