You could be teaching students from local schools, the community, large industries or local businesses. There is no upper age limit for an FE student – you could teach anyone from the age of 14 to 90!

The Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Professional Certificate in Education (PCE) is a Higher Education (HE) Teaching Qualification Awarded by the University of Greenwich. The programme will be delivered in a flexible attendance mode offering a variety of learning opportunities leading to Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
This programme is for those who teach in further education colleges, sixth-form colleges, adult education centres, art colleges, healthcare and community organisations, the public services and a wide range of commercial and voluntary organisations.
The programme covers the skills needed for teaching and classroom management and helps trainees to explore the theory underpinning teaching and learning.
