Computer Aided Design

Did you know: CAD was designed by NASA and is still used by them today!

CAD is used to determine the effects of loads and stresses on a design, without having to build a prototype to carry out experiments.

At Bracknell & Wokingham College we offer comprehensive CAD courses centred on technical design using AutoCad.

You will learn the methods required by a professional design team engaged in the development of a project through tender to presentation. City & Guilds of London have, for some years, offered a series of rigorous but practical awards for CAD practitioners.

The whole series provides a progression from beginner to expert and is recognised by the CAD industry as a worthwhile scheme.
