Bracknell & Wokingham College receives income from a combination of Skills Funding Agency funding and tuition fees. The course offer is carefully planned according to the total income expected. Therefore once a place on a course has been purchased a refund will only be made in line with this policy.
All requests for refunds should be forwarded in writing to the Student Services Manager, Bracknell & Wokingham College, Church Road, Bracknell, RG12 1DJ or by email email@example.com
If a request is made in writing to withdraw from a course more than 4 weeks before the course starts the student will receive a refund of the course fee less an administration fee. This fee is 10% with a minimum charge of £10 and a maximum of £250 per refunded course, covering administration costs and the loss of potential income to the college. Examination fees are non-refundable.
If we have to cancel a course and cannot offer a suitable alternative you will receive a full refund.
Where a single session is cancelled the college will either make up the lost session or ensure that all advertised course content will be covered.
Where a student cannot attend a course due to a change in the date(s) or time(s) by the college a full refund will be given.
The college reserves the right to change course tutors and in these circumstances a refund would not be given.
If a student withdraws from a course for medical reasons directly affecting course attendance the college will give a pro-rata credit note on production of a medical certificate less an administrative charge of £10.
The following cases are not eligible for refunds:
