What will I earn?

It costs you nothing to become an apprentice. When you finish, you'll be a qualified worker with proof that you can take responsibility at work.

A recent survey showed that an apprentice's average weekly wage is around £100, and can be as high as £210 per week

You'll also get Functional skills training at
college. These are general skills for work:

  • IT
  • English
  • Maths
  • Personal skills

Apprenticeships impress employers; they show you're able to learn and want to improve. Plus, apprentices are cost-effective for a business; find the right one, and they'll be happy to have you!

College can give you all the career help you need along the way.
