We know that everyone needs the right guidance to get through their course, that's why we're really keen for you to be part of your son or daughter's progress at college.

The course tutor's name and contact details will be sent to you at the start of the course. You can talk to us about your son or daughter anytime and you can be assured that we'll make every effort to tell you if they are struggling with their course. We hope you will help us to sort out any problems they're having.

Our parents' evenings also give you a chance to speak with tutors face-to-face about your son or daughter's progress.

Our courses are designed to lead students through their learning at the right pace for them. We have rules to make sure that pace isn't disrupted:

  • Attend regularly
  • Arrive on time
  • Submit work to deadlines
  • Don't copy from others
  • Respect your tutors and other students

All our staff and students are issued with ID cards, this way we know everyone in the college is there for the right reasons. It's important that students carry their ID card whenever they come to college as we can't let them through our security barriers without it. It also acts as their LRC membership card.

Communication with parents/carers will generally be via email.  Parents also have access to their son/daughter’s attendance and reports via eTrackr’s Parent Portal.
