Student Services

At Bracknell & Wokingham College we do much more than just teach courses. We have a great network of support to help our students achieve their potential in the subjects they are passionate about.

Needing extra support should not be a worry for anyone coming to college. We welcome students of all abilities and the sooner we are told if extra support is needed the more we can help.

Ways we can help

  • Tutorial support: To help you settle in and to give ongoing support and guidance
  • Practical support: Our Student Services team are on hand to advise you on things from finance to careers, and can even direct you to outside services
  • Personal support: Many of us need support at times to overcome challenges in life
  • Peer Mentors: Students who have been with us for a year or more can become Peer Mentors; helping and supporting our new students to adjust to college life

Study Support

Study support is available to all of our students. Our specialist team can help you with English, maths and study skills such as proofreading, research, planning and writing assignments and much more. These are all important employability skills.

This support will either be on a one-to-one basis or in small groups at a time to fit around your main course.

You can find out about our SEND Local Offer at Bracknell Forest Council's website.
