As the only woman on the electrical installation course, I was
feeling more than a little apprehensive about starting the first
term - especially considering that this was a completely
new career path.
I really shouldn't have worried.
I have been made to feel very welcome by all
the tutors and my fellow learners from the very first morning.
Coming here has given me a great opportunity to
learn and have fun while I am still
earning a living.
It would be even better if we could encourage a few more women
to enrol on this course.
