Careers Advice and Guidance
Studying at college is an opportunity for you to develop
your skills and experience and to find out about opportunities in
education, training and employment. This will help to prepare you
for the next steps after college and give you the potential to
reach your career goals.
The National Careers Service website has a wealth of information
and tools to help you research your career, write a CV, take a
skills assessment or create an action plan. If you are under 19 and
wish to discuss your career aims in more detail you can speak

0800 100 900, emailing or visiting the directgov
Careers Information for Young People webpage and using the
