The Thursday German class is the
highlight of my week. It stimulates my brain,
widens my knowledge of ‘how other people live’ and has widened my
acquaintance with people of a high level of education.
The material keeps us up to date with
political, economic and cultural life, not only in Germany but in
the rest of the world which normally tend to pass us by.
You could say, the course has woken me
up again, and I am certainly more of a match for my
teenage grandchildren.
The ‘little grey cells’ have
revived – very much due to my pleasant, inspiring Thursday
mornings.
